Robert Boehm Sensei holds
the rank of Sandan In the Aikido Association of America, under the study
of Fumio Toyoda Shihan. In addition to Aikido, he has trained in a variety
of martial arts and has
over
20 years
of experience.
Boehm Sensei
is a sergeant
with the Providence, RI, Police Department, chief firearms and defensive
tactics instructor, and bomb technician. He is also a member of the departments
SWAT team. Boehm Sensei is a recognized police use of force expert.
Donald Capuano Sensei holds the rank of Sandan in the Aikido Association
of America, under the study of Fumio Toyoda Shihan. Capuano Sensei has also
trained with many Shihan, including Saito Shihan, Kobayashi Shihan and Hatayama
Shihan. In addition to Aikido, he has trained in a variety of martial arts,
Including Kempo, Kyudo and Iaido, and has over
20 years
of experience and holds the rank of Sandan in Fudoshin Aiki-jitsu
studying under Saviano Sensei. Capuano Sensei is a police officer with the
Cranston, RI, Police Department, firearms
and
head
defensive
tactics
instructor, as well as a DARE instructor.

Rick Testa Sensei holds the rank of
Nidan. With a background in different Martial Arts, Testa Sensei began
his career with Karate, moving to Aikido in 1998 with the guidance of
Gallo Sensei and Capuano Sensei.
Javier Alfonzo Sensei holds the rank of Shodan. Alfonzo Sensei started with Full Contact but only lasted for 2 years, having the feeling that he was learning how to fight but not how to control himself or others. At the age of 18, he began practicing Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) for over 5 years until he discovered Aikido under the instruction of Hector Villagomez (Nidan, back then in Venezuela). He began practicing formal Aikido when he was 24, joining Shoshinkan Dojo in 2002 under Gallo Sensei and Boehm Sensei. His motto "Be a good UKE, you'll be a great NAGE".
All Instructors are tested and certified through the
Aikido Association of America in connection with Hombu Dojo, Japan.
